Question:What is PSIPS?

Answer:
Publication Site for Issued and Published Sequences of USPTO.

Question:Can I fax in my patent application?

Answer:
No, you can not fax in your patent application. Fax machines do not currently produce a document of sufficient quality to allow the text to be scanned and processed for publication purposes.

Question:Final Patent rejections may be appealed at the U.S patent and Trademark office.

Answer:
If the examiner persists in the rejection of any of the claims in an application, or if the rejection has been made final, the applicant may appeal to the Board of Patent Appeals and Interferences in the United States Patent and Trademark Office.

The terms "Patent Pending" and "Patent Applied For" are used to inform the public that an application for a patent has been filed. Patent protection does not start until the actual grant of a patent. Descriptive Mark

Definition:
A mark is considered merely descriptive if it describes an ingredient, quality, characteristic, function, feature, purpose or use of the specified goods or services.
